Start with the essentials. These are some of the most common questions we receive about planning a Sweet Magic Photo Booth experience, from booking your date and customizing your design to setup time, props, space requirements, and unlimited photos.

There is really no such thing as booking too early. Once you know your event date and have decided that Sweet Magic is the right fit, we recommend reserving your date. Popular weekends and event dates can fill quickly, so booking earlier gives you the best chance of securing your preferred date and experience.
Absolutely. We want each experience to feel personal to the event. Wedding and Bar or Bat Mitzvah designs can incorporate specific colours and visual themes, while corporate events can feature logos and brand elements. Sweet Magic founder Ian brings more than 25 years of graphic design and branding experience to the creative process, and the design is refined with you before the event.
Our photo booth setups typically require approximately 10 by 10 feet, although around 10 by 15 feet is more comfortable for some configurations. The exact footprint depends on the booth and enhancements you choose. A setup with a red carpet, gold stanchions, premium backdrop, props, or additional guest-flow space may require a larger area.
No. Guests are welcome to return to the photo booth and take more photos throughout the event. Funny poses, serious portraits, group shots, runway poses, and everything in between are welcome. We want guests to enjoy the experience rather than worry about reaching a photo limit.
Of course. We use high-quality photo booth props, including sturdy signs and a variety of hats, glasses, boas, and other accessories. Props are cleaned and sanitized after events so they are ready for the next celebration. Specialty enhancements such as championship belts can also be added when appropriate for the event.
Setup usually takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes before the event begins, while breakdown generally takes about 30 minutes once the event is over. We coordinate timing with the venue so setup can be completed with as little disruption to the rest of the event preparation as possible.

Depending on the campaign, options can include Mirror Air, a custom AI experience, branded digital content, a roaming booth, or AI Sports Cards. Wedding Glam is designed to create flattering, polished portraits with a clean, elevated finish. Sweet Magic's Glam treatment can include skin smoothing and glow enhancements and can be presented in timeless black and white or vibrant colour, making it a good fit for weddings, galas, anniversaries, and other upscale celebrations.
Guests are photographed and transformed into a professional-style sports visual using AI. The final design is presented as a personalized trading card, creating a collectible-style takeaway rather than a standard photo strip. The format works especially well for fan events, sports celebrations, sponsorship activations, team events, and youth events.
